QuickBooks 2012 hangs and freezes in Windows 7 64 bit

US QuickBooks Premier

Quickbooks hangs enetering a check or bill. I have replaced PC with a brand new PC and verified and rebuilt data. Everytime I try to enter a new bill or a simple check, computer freezes and QuickBooks says not responding.
