I am running Quickbooks Premier 2010 on a new computer with Windows 7. When I try to open the report center, my Quickbooks spontaneously closes and I have to reopen it and wait for the slow launch time (which is another problem with the new version).

I am on the QuickBooks team at Intuit. There was a Report Center issue in QuickBooks 2010 R1 release that was fixed in the R2 patch. Do you know if you have the R2 patch applied? You can tell by looking in the window that opens up with you hit F2 on the keyboard. If it doesn't say R2, you can exit QuickBooks and apply the R2 patch by going to the following URL:

On the page, you should pick the right product (QuickBooks 2010 Premier) in your case and update your computer with the R2 patch.
