Questions on QB online and Pro

US QuickBooks Pro for Windows

If I have a QB Pro software disc on my computer, can I access QB online also or only from the desktop where the software is installed? Would I have to create a separate account to use Quickbooks online? Does QB pro software work on Mac computers?

Hello,

Okay, let's start from the beginning. QuickBooks Online Edition is not QB Pro in an onliOe version. QBOE is its own entity. You convert and upload your QB Pro data to QBOE and work exclusively Online. There is no syncing back to the desktop edition. QBOE is browser based so you go to a web site and access your data. You can do this from any computer.

As far as QB Pro for Mac, you would be better off posting this question separately and use the drop downs to direct the question to QB Pro for Mac.
