Qualified Conservation Contribution. Has anyone tryed to claim a QCC on Schedule A that qualifies for the special 50% contribution base limit? How do you get the program to recognize the 50% versus 30% limit without overriding the field?

I just remembered where it was because I had someone donate a parcel of land to the Metro Parks a few years back.
The limit is usually 30% for QCC (capital gain property) but increased to 50% for 2009 only
It usually does not make any difference. In 42 years as a tax preparer, I have never done a tax return in which a taxpayer gave even 30% of their income to charities.
My client's QCC is valued at over $500,000. Over 300 acres of scenic land donated to a land trust.
