Qbs POS used with QBs Manufacturing for inventory assembly issues

QuickBooks Point of Sale : Pro 10.0

We have a retail company that also does some manufacturing. We just upgraded to QBs POS and got QBs Manufacturing. Since the POS took over all the inventories, we cannot figure out how to build items and have assembly items with the POS. Any ideas?

You are correct about POS taking over the inventory, so you would have to build your assemblies in POS. Alternately, you can segregate some inventory in QB, but POS won't know about it. Generally, trying to use the inventory extras in the Premier versions when you also use QBPOS will not work out very well.
