QB Sending Email from Wrong Email Account Despite Correct Address in Company Info

US QuickBooks Simple Start

On a new computer, the reloaded system is not sending from my company email address (Yahoo), but from separate, unrelated business email address on Outlook. This never happened on my old computer - it always went out from my Yahoo email address as it was supposed to.  How can I change it back so the email is sent from the correct email address? It's listed in company info correctly.

 I'm having the same problem. 

My primary account is a Google Apps Premier account that I use for syncing. My default email is my corp. email that I interface with via IMAP.

I'm running win7 64, QB 2010, Office Pro 2007.

I finally figured it out.  On my new computer I had selected Outlook to be my default email program for my computer.  Therefore, Quickbooks was automatically using it to send invoices.  I can't recall how I changed it (you can probably Google that, or I may have figured it out from Intuit help), but I selected Yahoo as my default email provider and now it's working fine again.  You should do the same by selecting Google as yours.  Good luck!!!

  I had this problem as well, and found my issue was due to the fact that Outlook (not Quickbooks) had the wrong email account configured as the "default" account.

To fix this, in Outlook 2010, go to the 'File' > 'Info' menu and click on 'Account Settings'. There you will see a list of the email accounts configured within Outlook. If the account you want to send Quickbooks forms with is not set as the default (with a small checkmark next to it), that may be your issue. Select the account you want to be used as default, and click the "Set as default" button above.

 I am new to QuickBooks and seem to be having the same problem, in which my outgoing invoice emails come from the wrong address. I am using a Mac and the Mac email program. Does anyone know how to change the default outgoing email account in that mail program?
