QB PC version vs QB Mac version?

Hi, Everyone:I will be tutoring someone in using QB; however, they have the MAC version of QB. This is my question: Is the MAC version of QB used in exactly the same way as the PC version? In other words, will the screens look exactly alike when entering information? Or does the screen format look different in the MAC version?I hope that makes sense. If anyone can answer my question, I would be most grateful. Thanks for your comments.

The screens do look different but they are not hard to learn. Some of the menus are different but also not hard to locate.

If you are not familiar with Mac computers, you might want a crash course before you work with the client. They are pretty different, even from OS-9 to OS-X. Here's a link to another QB forum if you have specific questions about how to do things in the Mac version: http://www.quickbooksgroup.com.../ On the left, under Products & Services, click Mac and you can search for help.

Keep in mind that if you are using QB 2006 for Accountants, there will be a great deal of differences in the Mac program - mostly in the types of things that you can do in the software. One of the most annoying things about QB Mac is that there is no Layout Designer, so you can't edit invoices other than to just add or delete certain fields from the standard template.

Anyway, if you are computer savvy or have experience with Macs, you should not have too hard of a time getting used to QB Mac.

Hope this helps.
