QB enterprise/contractor edition-What can I do when my memorized reports will not open?
QB enterprise memorized reports sometimes do not open?
QB enterprise memorized reports sometimes do not open?

I don't know why the memorized reports would not open--what happens? What message do you get? Are there numerous users? Does your server have the recommend processor requirements? How much RAM do you have? How old/large is the data file? There can be a number of factors to consider and investigate.

Michelle,
I do not receive any type of message; it just does nothing at all when I click on them (10 financial P&L reports) to open. I used reports from another "group" to filter with my options and then save under "my group". We are a multi-user environment. We have only been operating in Q.B. since Dec. 2008. I did all of this under my logon, rather than single-user mode or as an "Admin" does that matter? How often does this happen to Q.B. users - memorized reports not opening?

I hadn't heard of this happening before, but I did a search for you and found some older/isolated posts about it. Here's some things to try (always back up the data file first):
--delete & re-create the report when in single user mode.
--do not have a report open if you need to enter, edit, void or delete any transaction associated with the report. It can't refresh itself like the standard reports in the program & that's what's causing the problem.
--If the problem continues, Rebuild your data. Memorized reports can become corrupted & Verify doesn't detect the damage in them, but rebuilding corrects it (sometimes you need to rebuild 3 - 5 times in a row)
--login as admin and delete and recreate the user who is having the problem

This is NOT an isolated situation. It has been going on for years. Quickbooks Pro, Premier and now Enterprise. The intuit programmers did not cross their t's and dot their i's with this code. If you delete a memorized report, corruption can and does result. If you create a new report and it gets assigned to the deleted slot, the pointers don't line up and the report is not saved correctly. This has been going on for years and Intuit has ignored it.
