Purchase records and integration.

QuickBooks Point of Sale

Dear Concerned,

I am an accountant and am using QBPOS as well as QB Enterprise Solution for accounting. The sales record of my company is up to date, but no recordings have been made in QBPOS or QBES regarding the purchases. Now I am unable to find the COGS and Inventory Assets. I have the hard copies of all the purchases record and now if I am recorking the purchases in back dates it gives me the Cost of all the purchases but does not classsifies the COGS and Inventory Assets. Please help me out how would I complete the records.

Just a couple of clarifying questions for you.

1. You stated that "The sales record of my company is up to date, but no recordings have been made in QBPOS or QBES regarding the purchases" What sales record are you speaking of?

2. Are you able to see the receiving voucher in QBPOS?

If you are able to see the receiving vouchers in POS single click on the voucher from the receiving history and click I Want To>View Financial Detail. This will bring up a window that will show you how, when and where the transaction was sent.
