Important Announcement! A planned system-wide upgrade will take place over the Memorial Day Weekend in the US (From Thurs, May 24, 2012 at 6 pm PDT thru Tues, May 29, 2012 at 5 am PDT). ProAdvisor Customer Service problems?

I have been having a lot of difficulty getting help from the ProAdvisor reps. For a few months now, when I have complained about their response time, they explain that they are bogged down with the "inbound que". Has anyone else experienced problems with their ProAdvisor reps? May need to start looking at the Microsoft SBA package - any thoughts on that program?

I tried to download the Microsoft Accounting Free Program to no advail!! It may have been because I had the Beta Version. However, I did remove this version as instructed, but still could not install.

If you are having a lot of problems with the Intuit support you might want to try searching for a Quick Books proadvisor. Although they do not work for Intuit they usually know the system well and can help with problems that you might have. Quick Books is a really great program but if you do not have an accounting background you may need some training either on site or remotely.

Thanks for the response. I am on this forum b/c I am a QBs ProAdvisor, have a degree in Accounting, am a CPA, and am running my own business. When I call the ProAdvisor reps with a question I expect them to respond in a reasonable time frame. If not, then I am hesitant to continue to refer my clients to them to purchase their software.

I am in the pr-advisor program, and i am trying to purchase a 3 user lic. for a client. they have 4 computers in total one is a server, the other 3 are will be the 3 qbks user computers. The client wants the downloadable version. Do they need the 5 multi user lic or can they just use the 3 individual users lic. w/ one as the server. Also when buying the product it advises me I can not purchase more than two products at a time I am trying to buy 3 single user for Prenier download plus one restore disc. Do i purchase this under my account or do I create an account for the client. So their it guy can go and download. last question if I am charging this purchase to my firms credit card and the client plans on paying us via credit card as reimbursement are we allowed to charge a fee for processing the order under our credit card if so how much?

I am a QB's Certified Proadvisor since 2006, and I have a lot of difficulties with this program. First of all I am an allien -so please excuse my poor English-, I live outside US but I have my practice in my country and in US with my father's firm. Since we started our practice more than 5 years ago, we are learning and using all the Intuit products and after 2 years I become Certified in QB and we are atending some clients in the hispanic business market in Houston, Puerto Rico, Georgia and Florida .

This year we decided start our POS practice, of course with QB POS, but can you believe me that we sent the RSP application twice on February and we did not get any answer from Intuit.

But, the second incredible thing, is more than a year we are awaiting the Intuit answer in order to use our merchant account but this is a "impossible mission". More than a month ago, we get the approval email for our new application ! CONGRATULATIONS !!! ....but we can not use the approved account within our QB file, so we ask for customer help, followed their instructions in order to change our email address because they do not activate our account because we have more than 20 services logged, and change our email and surprise...our application was denied today !!

Really I can not understand this situation. Anybody can help me ?
