ProAdvisor Cost

Customer Manager Online

Why doesn't Intuit have better payment plans for the ProAdvisor Program? I am trying to start a new bookkeeping business and $500 is steep. I would think that a company of their caliber would have better payment options for small businesses. $250 up front and $250 a month later is hurting. I really want to become a ProAdvisor to help attract new clients but Intuit does not have enough options for me to afford this benefit. Where are the monthly installment plans; it's needed in this economy. I really think that more people would become ProAdvisors if the payment plans were better. I understand the $500 cost is nothing compared to all the services and recognition that's gained but can Intuit work with me? Pray for me, I need favor and a miracle to afford this Program!!!

That is a great suggestion.  I remember using my personal credit card and paying over time when I first got into the ProAdvisor program and had just started my business.  It actually costs more for older subscribers and new ProAdvisors get a discount.

You may want to put that suggestion into feedback.  they do look at feedback.

It's a great suggestion.  I just joined the program in December.  If it makes it easier for you to bite the bullet I can tell you that it's well worth the investment.    Good luck.

While I do agree with what you're saying - starting a business is going to have some start up costs associated with it. Having this software is going to help grow your business better than not having it would.

Another suggestion would be to start your business without the ProAdvisor, wait until you have a client or two for a few months and save up for the purchase. I think it is worth it 100% though.
