Printing voucher checks

US QuickBooks for Macintosh : 2009

Just converted to QB 2009 for Mac from Windows version.   I was printing 3-part voucher checks just fine with the Windows version.   I am unable to print anything that resembles a voucher check from bill payment or write check.   The help screen and manual reference changing the company setting but nothing seems to work.  All I am able to print is a single check with no voucher stubs.

The only dialog I see wants me to specify either 1,2,or 3 checks per page (page 356 and 357 of QB Mac manual).

Of course, I am under the gun now and beginning to regret my decision to convert.

Is anybody out there successfully printing 3 part voucher checks?

What am I doing wrong?

The solution

I did it for years up through 2009. Never had a problem. Let's have a look at your print setup. Go to File>Print Setup>Check... Make sure the correct settings are set (check style, partial page, logo). Use the Page Setup, Align..., and Print Sample buttons to help tweek the printer. Once set up you can now go and click the print button on the check. Here you will  see the choice for 1, 2, or 3 checks. Set it to 1. Click print and you should get your printer dialog and get what you are looking for.

Thank you, ProMac and Debi....    Seems I didn't allow enough time when converting to test all functions, got caught behind, and couldn't see the forest thru the trees.   Thanks for your courteous responses.   Everything working fine now and I'm glad to be 100% running my business on the Mac!
