Printing on Intuit checks not working

US QuickBooks for Macintosh : 2010

I am having a problem printing checks. I have ordered checks from Intuit and they do not print right. Some things need to move up and others down. I can't use alignment because of that. What should I do now? I have the mac version of quickbooks

If you ordered QuickBooks for Mac-compatible checks from Intuit, then selecting the correct style and (if necessary) using Alignment in the print dialog should allow the checks to print properly. If you're expecting absolutely perfect on-the-line printing, I kind of think that won't happen. However, each field should print in the right location on the check.

To find out which release of QB 2010 for Mac you have, use Command-1 to get the Product Info window.

The big problem is some things need to go up and others down, so the alignment setting is useless

edadg, you should upgrade your version to the latest release - which is now R6. There was an earlier bug which had the Check-21 compatible box checked (in error) and that threw off the alignment for voucher checks (even tho only wallet checks have Check-21)

If you don't have time to download the latest release, go into the checks Print Panel, switch to wallet style checks, UNcheck that "Check-21 compatible box" and then switch back to voucher checks. You'll be able to do alignment if necessary after that.
