Printing 1120S in Windows 7

 

I have a new machine running Windows 7. For the most part, ProSeries is running fine. (mouse does not scroll). However, the last 2 1120S corps do not seem to print correctly. Using the print preview, it hangs up and eventually tells me I am out of memory. Today, the regular print function hung up only printing the federal not the state.

I do have the same problem, spend almost 1 hour with support, we did uninstall 1120s module and install it again, and it doing same thing, so desapointed, they are closed today, Missing Ultratax :(

Do you have updated drivers for your mouse and printer? If so, have you tried an older printer driver that worked in previous years? (Install it as a separate printer so you can switch between them.) Does the memory in your computer meet or exceed the ProSeries requirements?

the mouse works fine for all applications expect Pro Series. (It actually works fine in the Home Base, but not in the actual program).  As far as the printing my new machine is "state of the art" with a ton of RAM, so that is not an issue. And the printing issue has only affected me with the 1120S program. Can print and print preview in the 1040 with no problem.

Thanks, Jed_cpa. It's weird that it works for 1040 but not 1120S.

My last suggestion before referring you to tech support is to install a Hewlett-Packard LaserJet 4 printer driver. (You don't have use it, just have it installed.)

It's screwy but some times this solves some issues.
