Pricing Help

As a new business owner I am looking for suggestions on how much to charge for my services and the best methods to use. My informal local survey puts other bookkeepers rates at about a $45/hr average. Is this a reasonable starting rate?

That is probably just below the average for a ProAdvisor.

Log in to your ProAdvisor account and you can see the last Fee Survey done by Intuit in 2009.  If I recall just under $65 was the average fee for ProAdvisors.

Initial feedback for the 2011 survey indicates that the average has come down since 2009.

If this answered your question please mark solved.

Thanks,

Mark Smith
