Play copy of company files
I want to make a copy of our existing company file to play with. How do I do that?

The solution
You can just do a backup to your desktop, but be sure to rename it so that you know it's your test company. Then restore it.

Also, once you have a test company file, open Company menu > Company Information. Change the company name here. This is what shows at the top left of the title bar when the file is open. Put something like TEST ONLY!!!! since of course, this file looks exactly like the real file otherwise.
