It is either a date issue (P&L is not in the dates of the bill or pymt) or cash balance or accrual setting in conjunction with the date or an item used in the bill points to a balance sheet acct (like prepaid expense, which is an asset acct) and would not show on a P&L.

i checked the dates and they are fine. i paid this bill like all the others in the enter bills...pay bills...and for some reason this one is not showing on the P&L. the dates are for the month of july..so what would i check next ??
