We just got a candygram from the IRS that our only PIN-signed return never reached them with a PIN. Luckily the return was mine, but the IRS representative also said that I had a lot of company in terms of this problem.Anybody else start receiving these notices yet, or was this more of a non-Intuit routing issue?
I usually get a notice annually for those that did not make it to IRS, for any number of reasons. That is why we always keep a copy of what was sent.
Have been signing returns with pins for many years (nine partners) using Lacerte. Have never had one not reach the IRS. If I ever thought there was a problem due to lack of electronic acknowledgement, I would call Lacerte support, and always able to resolve it.
