Important Announcement! A planned system-wide upgrade will take place over the Memorial Day Weekend in the US (From Thurs, May 24, 2012 at 6 pm PDT thru Tues, May 29, 2012 at 5 am PDT). This includes QuickBooks, QuickBooks Payroll, Point of Sale, & Salesforce.com. This is only for US based products. This does not affect QuickBooks Online customers! Payroll tax table is now out of date

QuickBooks UK : Pro 2012

For a year I subscribed to Payroll service. I then stopped my subscription and switched off Payroll features. However, I keep getting the following error when I open Quickbooks: Your payroll tax table is now out of date. I cannot stop the error from being displayed every time I open Quickbooks. How can I switch this message off/

I don't think you can.

I also get the same message for the old data files that I use for some clients, even if payroll was not turned on in that file.

If someone has found a way, I would like to know how too.
