how do I enter a payroll liability refund?

Hi there!
If a overpayment is reflecting within your taxes you can reach out to support and we can help mark that Overpayment as a refund. You do not have the ability within the product to mark it on its own.
Please help me improve my performance by answering a short survey that will be emailed to you from the community.
Thank you. the greatest deficit to this payroll software is this lack of control. I did contact support four times with the same result - an error and no way to get to the 940 to print or view so i could even do a hand written one or efile on my own. It was beyond frustrating.
The fifth contact with support I became somewhat unfriendly. I would not release the gentleman until I could see the 940 - He was joined in my frustration and finally asked if he could just fix the problem on his own. It took him about 15 minutes to finagle things but finally the 940 was available to me and it showed the refund we were due. This report should have printed on it's own with refund listed, the IRS will take it from there. I was told I had to find out what the IRS was going to do with the credit but I couldn't see the 940 to know what had happened OR even how much was due. A Literal rock and hard place. I had no idea what I should say to the IRS other than my 940 wont print or display and Intuit says I have to talk to you about it - they'd laugh in my face and I don't blame them.
It is a vicious circle with Intuit in complete control and IRS only wants their filings and on time. After a week of complete frustration I am ready to head to ADP - at least they do all the filing and if they muck it up they fix it and I don't have to worry about it. In this case Intuit filed and forced payment that was double the actual amount owed and then locked us in with no way but to contact support - support that did not know what they were doing.
