PAying a bill
I have entered a bill in my QB 2009 "enter bills" and need to pay it in 6 different check. Is this possible and if so how?

Yes it is possible. You can make as many partial payments for one bill as you want.
Go to Vendors>Pay Bills
In show bills Choose Show all bills
Select the vendor & the Bill you want to pay by ticking in front of the bill
For Bill that you want to Partly pay ,Go To "Amount to Pay" column ( This is the last column on the Screen)
In the Amount to Pay area overwrite the amount you want to pay in place of full amount of bill already showing]
Click on Pay Selected Bills
Part of one bill as required by you will be paid.
You can repeat this each time you want to pay

Go into your "Pay Bills". Select the checking account you wish to pay from, select the bill that you want to pay and change the amount to what you want to pay on that check. Click OK. Repeat for each payment.
