Pay Employee Icon
I need to produce paychecks, the Pay Employee icon does not appear on my screen? How do I get it to appear. NO, I do not want to subscribe to payroll through QB

You will need to set up manual payroll. You can do this by going to Help>QuickBooks Help and then do a search on Manual Payroll. You should find a link to turn on manual payroll.
Be aware that when using manual payroll QB will not calculate any taxes or process any tax forms. You will need to do all of the calculations manually and enter them into each paycheck.
