bring up the sales receipt, click customize, click customize data layout, click basic customization, lower left check mark the paid stamp

I have done this, and applied payment, and the paid stamp still will not show up on sales receipts. :(

We seem to be talking about two different things, a sales receipt is final, the payment is received when the receipt is made, and there is no apply payment

Usually a paid stamp is used for invoices, once you "receive payment', bu the "sales receipt" it self is a prove of payment.

Many of us want the receipt to say paid when we hand it to the customer
just as a receipt from the store does
