This includes QuickBooks, QuickBooks Payroll, Point of Sale, & Salesforce.com. This is only for US based products. This does not affect QuickBooks Online customers! PA Mac:

First - where in PA are you located?  I am about 1 hour north of State College.

I have not heard if the local form will be accepted by the local tax return companies but the overall form has not changed in either Proseries or the actual Tax Collection companies so I plan on using it until they tell me I cannot.

Dusty

PS:  Have you found a site to list all the local collectors so we know where to send them?

Please call 800-434-6818 if this does not answer your question or if you have a complaint.

Dusty: These changes will be for 2012.  Info can be found @ newpa.com.

Try this and let me know if you find what you are looking for. The way I read the law, there will be one collector for each county, not municiality, accept Philadelphia and Pittsburgh area.

That's correct, PA MAC, that there is now one collector for each county (and that Philly & Pittsburgh are different, not having EIT but having their own wage tax).

The solution

The new Act32 law is effective for 2012 although some counties can elect early implementation (Bucks county for example).  Some Political Sub Divisions have changed tax collectors for 2011 even though entire counties have not.  The following link will tell you who collects taxes in all PA PSD's.
