We often get "homework" questions and this sounded exactly like one. I understand the research has been difficult, but unless someone is willing to be exceedingly generous with their time, this is something that is not going to get a quick answer.

The quick answer is no to first question and yes to second. Any entity can own an LLC but c-corp cannot be a shareholder in S-corp.
