I over paid an employee using QB enhanced payroll. Paid employee with a direct deposit (paid salary $$$ x2) What's the best way to fix? Can't just skip next pay because tax withholding was much greater because gross was higher tax bracket. Thanks.
Calculate how much extra gross was paid.
Set us a decuduction as a taxable deduction.
Determine each pay period how much you will deduct.
Place the per pay period amount in the Amount column and the total limit in the limit column of a New Employee or Edit Employee Payroll Calculations Tab.
