amended return original amounts from 1040 not flowing to 1040x column. 2011 box checked. when correction to original retun is made, numbers appear in the 2nd and 3rd column. Had no problems in prior years doing this.

I have not had a problem with the 1 I did so far. I would contact Tech Support on this right away.

Thanks Dusty. That was my next step. I updated my software to the latest version and still have the issue.
When you put in your new figures a message will appear that your figures have changed and you may need to file a 1040X. When it asks if you want to see the changes select yes. This should bring all the new figures over.
Thanks for the info kytaxgirl. My issue is with the numbers originally reported not flowing to the 1st column on the 1040X form. If I make the change then check the 2011 box, it will put in the corrected number in the net change column and the amended column. I will try the tech support people.
