Oregon Schedule A
When filing in Oregon, LaCerte is saying that you have to paper file Oregon return when you are submitting return with a schedule A for Oregon only?

That may be an artifact from prior years. The OR efile handbook (http://egov.oregon.gov/DOR/ESE... ) says:
Note: Some documents have been removed from previous year’s lists, specifically Oregon only federal Schedule A. These documents may still be requested during processing or later. Also, waiting three business days to fax these documents will ensure that we have received your client’s return electronically from the IRS and have record of it in our system.
The other alternative is that the OR programming for the new year isn't far enough along that Lacerte sends the right stuff.
I had the same thing come up last night with one I e-filed. Lacerte completely dropped it out of the efile batch. It all the sudden does this since the last update. I have all ready e-filed a number of these type of returns that have a SCH A for Oregon ONLY and they have gone thru with no problems. Then all the sudden after this last update it comes up with this. ???? What the heck??? Lacerte has some MAJOR problems this year. THEY need to fix this ASAP! And many more issues!!

I had the same problem. Here is the fix:
go in the Schedule A input screen #25, and mark force schedule A to print right at the top
you will still get the standard deduction on federal, but OR will efile
If this solved your problem give it the thumbs up.
This gets another critical error: Taxpayer must file MFS. Does not work!!

It’s an erroneous diagnostic. It will go away with this week’s update.
I had the same issue, but went in and disabled the e-file error and e-filed the returns and have acknowledgements this morning that they were accepted by federal.
