putting qb on a new computer. I want to totally redo my items list. Also I have alot of innactive customers i would like to remove. Is it possible to select certain items and customers to transfer to the new computer?
are you transferring the existing company file to the new computer or are you creating an entirely new company file?
you can export and import lists, however, not transactions
exporting/importing lists only deals with the lists as a whole, no selective power to pick and choose this customer to import but not this one.
this is correct, but proceed with caution. IIF files can corrupt and changes can be lost. probably not a logical option if a user does not have very much computer knowledge.
