Important Announcement! A planned system-wide upgrade will take place over the Memorial Day Weekend in the US (From Thurs, May 24, 2012 at 6 pm PDT thru Tues, May 29, 2012 at 5 am PDT). Opening Statement Writer 2012 by non-admin users

US QuickBooks Premier : 2012: Accountant

Non-admin users receive error message when accessing QuickBooks Statement Writer in 2012
Warning: Only the Admin can start Intuit Statement Writer the first time it is used with a company file.

Please log on as Admin and start Intuit Statement Writer. In the future, any user can start Intuit Statement Writer for this company file

 

We have logged on as Admin and have opened Statement Writer and non-admin users still receive this message.

Has there been any resolution to this?  It's been 2 months and it's inconvenient as well as unsecure to have to constantly login as admin to run the statement writer.

Does anyone know if this issue has been resolved? I have been waiting since the beginning of upgrading from QB11 to  QB12 in December 2011. My whole organization wants me to dump Quickbooks and go with another accounting package. I really don't want to, but will be forced to if this isn't fixed very quickly....Each time I call customer service I have to reinvent the wheel to describe the problem only to find out that "the update should be any day now"....Intuit, your about to lose a long time customer....someone who does pay the annual service agreement(around $1500.00 per year)...

Sorry Intuit, but I just issued orders to purchase another Accounting Package..It seemsthat our folks cannot wait for you to any longer..I can drag my feet a little, but waiting has become a real problem
