Opening .qbx file from a flash drive in QB Accountant
A client gave me a flash drive with a .qbx file of his company for me to do adjusting entries; however, my Quickbooks Accountant Edition will not open and convert the file. What do I need to do?

What year is the client using vs. what year are you using? You need QuickBooks Accountant of the same year or 1 year newer.
Then, copy the file to your hard drive, go to File > Open or Restore > Convert an Accountant's Copy File
