Opening Balance Equity
For fiscal 2009, the opening balance equity from fiscal 2008 is still showing. How do I change that amount??

Make a journal entry moving the balance out of Opening Balance Equity and into whatever account(s) it should have been in in the first place.
That account ought to be called "QuickBooks is no substitute for an understanding of basic accounting principles."
