the best option would be to start a business in the area of your expertise. It will help you a great deal as first you will have prior knowledge about that and secondly since you are aware of it then you will have good ideas regarding how to carry your business forward.

Kiso - If you want to start a home-based business, consider your interests/hobbies or things that you are highly knowledgeable about.....and then go from there. Are you savvy on the internet? Do you like to sell products/services? Would you have the expertise to consult on a particular subject/field? Have you thought about the many franchise opportunities available? Assess how much money you have to put into this new business or how much you prefer to spend in the beginning. Creating a website would be the next step. Then, you can get into marketing and advertising your product/service. These are just general info to get you going....hope it helps.
