Intuit usually discontinues support for its products after three years. 2009 is being sunsetted as of 5/31/12. This means that you will not be able to get payroll updates or use any electronic services (including online banking). If you want to upgrade and avoid any interruption of services, you will need to do this by 5/13/12. Othewise, you can check with your bank to see if they offer a direct download alternative.
