One Customer statement needed, but individual ones come up for each job

I need one statement for a customer with multiple jobs but it is printing out individual statements for the jobs - I have ticked the 'create one statement for' box as 'customer' and even tried it for jobs, but still the same.

It works fine when I select the actual customer, but I need to send a seperate statement for each project, which is split into multiple job files

ie: Client A has a project beta and also a project delta.  We invoice for each section of beta and delta that we complete, so the jobs come up as Client A:project beta 1, Client A: project beta 2, etc and I need one statement for Beta and one for Delta, but it keeps doing individual statements for each section of beta or delta that we have done.

Can anyone help?
