Old Invoices / receipts

QuickBooks Point of Sale

Hello all,

I am pretty new... We are using POS basic 9.0 & QuickBooks Pro 2010.  Finally got store up and running, inventory all set up, but now I need to go back and enter old invoices previous to opening physical store.  How do I do that?  Do I do it through QuickBooks?  Any links would be greatly appreciated!!!

Thank you!!

Scott

My guess is when you set up your qty, you just entered the qty's rather than receiving. This means that you will a negative amount if the POS adjustment expense account.  So I would just code the bills to that account and hope it balances out.  In the future, use receiving vouchers.  Go to the help screen and check out receiving

Sorry...I should have explained better.  The old invoices I am referring to are things like computer equipment, paint, start up costs,  etc...  I am using receiving vouchers for items we are selling.
