1) how do i disappear the budget line items i do not want reflected in our budget reports?
2) is there a way to have the "Annual Total" column reflect a total amount in both income and expenses in the budget?
The budget line items (accounts) are the chart of accounts. If you have amounts in the actual accounts or a budget amount in, it will show up in reports. You can modify the report to not show accounts with no activity.
If all you want in the budget reports is the total annual budget, then simply put the annual budget in the first month column of your fiscal year. Don't spread it over the 12 months.
You also can set the report not to show accounts that have no budget.
