There was a bug in POS that if you checked exempt in the customer record, it won't list on the QBF sale tax report. Apparently not fixed. create and select an exempt tax code in the customer record. To determine non taxable sales in the meantime, run the sale tax summary report in POS. BTW, the sale tax is correct, just the reported sales is wrong.
