I am setting up church on QB. Do I have to have a special QB to show records of contributions or gifts to a church? It must be also that I can show details check #; contributions; special offering; building fund; etc.

Contributions and gifts are income
I understand they are income. But I also understand if we set up a fund like a Social Building Fund. And then have to write monies out of that fund. Would we not pay all the funds out of Current Liabilities until the funds are used up and then but the rest of the expenses in the P/L. This way we will zero out with the funds that was collected.
