If you are using Office 2007, check your Macros in Security. They will need

to be set to Medium or lower.

Good Luck

What version of Excel are you using? There are some 2003 versions that do not work (Student, small business, etc.). Are you using Vista or XP?

Intuit Statement Writer DOES work with many versions of Excel 2003. It does NOT work with Excel 2003 Student/teacher edition, small business edition, and standard/basic (?) edition. It does work with all versions of Excel 2007.

Hi, I am having the same problem. We are using Excel 2007 and have tried adjusting the macro security levels. The problem persists even after the changes. What was your solution?

Hi, I have the same problem. Tried Excel 2003 and 2007, QB Premier Acc. Ed. 2009, Stat. Writer 2009. I did changes in macro security. No change. Is there some solution?

Many thanks...

I found solution for my case. The problem was, that user had not Quickbooks administrator privileges. For the first time (first run of ISW) its necessary to log in as admin, start ISW, grant access when asked to ISW module for the company file, and than it works in lower accounts too.
