Hello!!!.....What software would be good for someone who is wanting for the first time to open his new tax service....Like what would be a good software and if its worth it to pay a substantial amount ..?? Thanks

the software would depend upon the volume of tax returns you plan to do and also the type. You may need the ability to do 1040, 1065, 1120 ect. How many tax returns you prepare will affect the cost. If you purchase an unlimited version the cost will be higher

Value is in the eye of the beholder. Determine how much you are willing to spend and then get some demos of software that is in your price range. Select the one that is appropriate for your practice.

Personally, I'd suggest "one you already know how to use." No sense in adding in another layer of complication.
If you have so little tax experience you've never used professional software to prepare a return, may I suggest that software choice may be the least of your concerns.
