New $8000 First Time Homebuyers Credit

ProSeries : 2008

Does anyone know if the new $8000 first time homebuyers credit to be signed 2/16 can be claimed on the 2008 tax return if home purchased in 2009? The previous version of the credit allowed for this.

You will have to wait and see the exact language that is incorporated into IRS Law

$8,000 credit can be taken in 2008 for purchase of home in 2009.

Give the program people a couple weeks to update the form.
