Need to print 2009 W-2's & no longer in business

US QuickBooks Pro for Windows : 2008

I have a client that has gone out of business and used QB payroll and can't find her copy of 2009 W-2's and since she doesn't have a payroll sub. she can't print them. Is there any way to do this?

Even if they had the sub, there is no way to print a 2009 W-2 from QB now. QB keeps only one template of W-2.

It is possible to print the information of the 2009 W-2s on 2011 W-2 forms with a subscription. You might be able to find a QB pro-advisor who has the payroll subscription for 50 clients but does not need that many. He/she could add this client of yours to this subscription. This action would make it possible to print W-2s. Now comes the other trouble: QB can print only to the new forms. We had to "cheat" a little a couple of times: print the old information on the new form, white out the year on the form and hand-write 2009 instead of 2011.
