Need to add DESCRIPTION OF WORK to invoices

US QuickBooks Online Edition : Online Essentials with Payroll

I am a service company, how can I add a DESCRIPTION OF WORK to individual invoices? In the desktop version of QB I just changed SHIP TO to DESCRIPTION OF WORK and typed into the blank field. Was easy, need this fucntionality bad! Essential for customers to know what we did for work.

Are you using the products and services and description for something else? If you do not see these columns, you can set them up in Company Preferences.

Latest post

Ended up using the DESCRIPTION option in my mobile app. It types it down with the materials but no big deal, as long as the customer can read a description somewhere that is fine with me. Thanks for the reply!
