I've been running a small business for a while and am now trying to take it further. I am setting up the website on my own so if anyone could give me feedback on it I'd be very grateful. - I find the wooden background makes things difficult to read
- You mention financial planning a couple of times, but don't appear to offer any financial planning services
- I have no clue who you are, or what (if any) credentials you have
- not a fan of the "firm name floating inches above a shiny surface that reflects some of it" effect. Makes me think "Mmm, someone just got Photoshop, and is playing with random effects."
Do you have a contact e-mail on your site,? I missed that.
You do need to read through your site like a client and look at it from their viewpoint.
I noticed a couple of typos and that is always a negative to me.
Post back with more comments after you have looked it over.
Look at other sites that offer similar services, check out the ones that you like and borrow the good points.
Hola...just a few comments (I too am setting up a new website)
- background seems busy and hard to read
- not fond of the "lilac" links...know that you chose it because you most likely could not find another color that worked with the wood background.
- misspellings
- credentials...how long you have been in business...serving the community for how long
do yo have a speciality? (ie. preparing taxes, payroll? )
- is there a cost to your financial planning ? What will "your" financial planning consist of and what will should the client expect from this service.
