moving files to new version of qb

i have an old version of qb(99) and want to move the files over to another computer w/ qb(09) and dont know where to start

Yikes, I am not sure you can do a straight upgrade from 99 to 2009, it may require you to upgrade to something in between first. You may need some help from a Pro Advisor, like me. You can find a Pro Advisor on the QB website.
