MONTHLY RE-OCCURING EXPENSES
Does QB still offer short cut for reoccuring monthly expenses? I don't see this option within Pro 2009. Thx !

Are you talking about Memorized Transactions? Enter your transaction then press Ctrl-M

Thank you I guess I am talking about Memorized Transactions. I had a look at that area.
What I am hoping to do is enter monthly charges that are same amount, same vendor.
How do apply an account to the Memorized Transactions? Thanks so much !

The solution
Hi MsBrown,
When you are ready to pay a bill for a Vendor, go to Write Check and fill out the check. Do no Save and Close just yet. After filling out the check, you can do Ctl+M or right-click on the check and select Memorize Transaction or go to Edit and select Memorize Transation.
Here is where you set up the Monthly reocurring transaction by select Monthly and the next date due. Click ok when you finish setting this up. Click Ok. Now you can Save and Close the Write Check screen.

Awesome explanation. I thank you. Now that I got the procedure (thanks to you), another 'thought':
Like alot of businesses, I have multiple Vendors with same amount to be paid year after year (Truck Payment ; Loan Payment). These are set up on auto-withdrawal. The Vendor bill and the payment is recorded manually by me. Is there a feature to Enter Vendor Bills ONCE and change the date for each month of year? Then apply the payment with Memorized feature?
Regarding Credit Cards...it's the same issue, really: same vendor; same amount. Can Memorized Transactions be applied a year in advance to credit card transactions?
