Not ready is different than no way

According to the release date schedule it looks like the form isn't going to be finalized until 1/26.
Sorry,
Maybe I was not clear enough.
The read me file for the mo return says you can efile, but not paper file, the form. Inside the proram, when I open the form it ways it is not ready for efile. I just want to know which it is.
The release date schedule says EF ready, but the form isn't finalized yet. In other words, until the form is finalized, the return ain't going nowhere.
I just filed one a few minutes ago. It was accepted by Intuit. Will keep you informed as to whether or not MO accepts it.
Have you gotten the Missouri acknowelegement yet?
Thanks in advance for letting me know
Jayhawk, do you have a MO-NRI in the return? I have one with a NRI and it says not ready for e-file until Jan 26. Perhaps jayMOtax didn't have any forms in his return that aren't ready.
Got the Fed acks today. Both state returns (KS n/r & MO resident) are still pending. They have been forwarded to the states, though. Will keep you posted.
Forgot to add: I got the same not ready/readme OK to efile messages. After going through the same thought processes as deb, sent it in anyway. What can they do besides reject? To quote one of the senior advisors on this site, "Come and get me coppers".
But to meet full disclosure requirements you should point out that he is currently serving 15 years in Leavenworth.
jayMO-You seem like just the guy to go over to those 4562 e-file problem people and tell them to just click off error cheking when converting. They seem to be having some problems with manual entries on 4562 and e-file. Explain that the coppers are already busy down in MO & TX and while not error free; they should be home free.
Received the MO ack last night. Nothing from KS. I'd say you can e-file MO safely.
My client is a Missouri nonresident so there is a NRI, which shows as not ready to e-file until 1/26/12.
Deb,
I have one I am sitting on for the same reason. I did go ahead and efile one that didn't have an nri in it.
