MN Property Tax Refund efile bombing

ProSeries

I tried e-filing my first MN return with a Rent Credit (M 1PR). It didn't make it past the Intuit site. The error message states "E-filing for 09 MN Prop Tax not avail yet". Proseries E Alert web page makes no mention that it is not avail.

The Property Tax Refund form itself passed all the pre-submission error checks from within Proseries so there was not any errors on the M1PR itself.

I went to proseries interactive help (is it ask Iva?), the answer came back that efiling for the M1PR would be available 1/15/10.  So much for the automated help!!  I tried going to live-chat but that is not open on Sunday.

Have any of you folks had a Property Tax form accepted this year or am I just unlucky?

Sorry, I was out chasing that roadrunner again ----------- still without success.

Sorry Mike, I thought I was going to have one on Friday, but the clients fell a little short of qualifying.  I had planned on e-filing it when I was doing the data entry and I didn't see anything that would lead me to believe that the form wasn't ready yet.  That's nice of them to tease us a little and make us believe it is ready.  I also took a quick look on the MN Revenue website and didn't see that there were any hang ups on their side.

Ninety percent of tax preparation is half mental.

Someone in the e-file section at Intuit must have flipped a toggle switch this morning.  The MN M1PR got accepted by Intuit.  I'll assume it will be accepted by the state.  If not I will report back.

Mike
