John, trust me, this is a bad day to ask about SBBT. I'll just leave it at that.

Sorry for the delay. Proseries supports two banks. I think advantage Refunds is the other proseries refund provider. Talk to customer service

Chase is still accepting new offices. But you need to act soon. And you need to pay $200 through www.profitdevelopers.com to get software that will send Proseries returns to Chase. I actually have not renewed my software with PDI yet and I'm thinking about telling the 15 clients I do these for they can go somewhere else if they insist in the RAL.

At least SBBT will not be cheating your clients out of a large chunk of their refund.

AffordableTaxes - before you send them packing show them the e-file refund schedule and they might stay. But then again, if they are clients you don't like dealing with anyway, it's an easy way to show them the door.
Keep pursuring the bank relationship option. In addition to the banks offer free debit and credit card terminals. Of course there is a fee to the customer. To maximize internet based marketing you must have the ability to receive payment this way.
You do not have to be approved for RAL to offer CASH CARDS and/or Refund Transfer. Each product will allow you to deduct your fees.

Jackdog - How are you efiling these returns since the IRS is not accepting returns until January 15th?

Patience pays
Yet, by waiting just a few more days, you can receive your refund at no charge. The IRS says it can process a return and submit a refund in as little as 10 days of filing, if the taxpayer files electronically and arranges for direct-deposit of the refund into a bank account. You can have your preparer file your return electronically for you.
